![]() I am really eager to hear your opinion on the game and of course, suggestions and wishes on what I should implement :) If you like the game, I would really appreciate adding it to your wishlist and following. Forge everything from weapons and armor to tools and cooking utensils to fund your craft and become the Blacksmith Master. Manage your own medieval smithy in Blacksmith Master and supervise the entire process from mining ores and gems to designing and selling finished products. It's in the same universe as Tavern Master and I aim to introduce some new experimental features that I didn't include in Tavern Master. Also your comparisons are kinda out of place considering the others are made by companies or multiple people.ĭo I think a lot of them will be implemented in the future? Also yes.ĭo I have the patience to wait for it? Triple yes.Hello everyone! There are 2 big news today :)įirst one is that I am finally ready to announce my second game called Blacksmith Master which I worked on for the past 8 months (one of the reason there were fewer Tavern Master updates). It feels like you do not begrudge him his success. Are you on the discord? He is working very hard on all the suggestions, feedback and wishes of the community. It's like in wargames - there is the best - Command: modern operations, Combat Mission (Black Sea, Cold War, etc.) and there are other click-through games, the last have the better ratings. But with a rating of 90%, he thinks that everyone is happy with everything. If the developer of Tavern Master implemented the ideas of its predecessors, it would be great. Yesterday I played in the sandbox some hours in order to compare games - it is playable. I bought it on the day of release (EA?), played ~50% of the campaign and abandoned it. Developer's behavior cannot be justified. Now I understand the negative to the Crossroads Inn. To each their own and all that, have fun playing your hardmode bugs. You didn't bother to mention Traveler's Rest either. You aren't wrong that there's more to the game (currently), but it isn't worth the aggravation to play for a long time and there's zero replay value once you finally crawl through all the bugs and see it all, because it's just too much of a headache.Īlso, you don't even own Tavern Master. That community person left after a post saying they were only told "new content was coming" not what the content was.Īt this point crossroads is a cash-grab game that they use their niche-market to attract interested parties before they can see all the crazy issues. Last time this happened, the exiting "new content" was the reveal for their deckbuilder circus game and had literally nothing to do with crossroads inn. ![]() If you watch how they work, they occasionally hire a new marketing "community manager" for a few months that will push hard on the forums and discord about "upcoming content" which never comes, then they disappear themselves too. I mean heck all the recent news updates for Crossroads inn are literally for OTHER GAMES or their freaking board game no one wants to play anyway. More interested in making new DLC to advertise with than fixing issues. They constantly plug other games they make within Crossroads too, even the "DLC" for Crossroads is literally based on the dev's other games and openly plugs links to them. The devs have long said "More patches are coming" and "fixes are coming" but they never live up to their promises, and that's been going on for YEARS. Ĭrossroads in has more content, but is horribly made and full of craploads of bugs and game-ruining issues. So I would like to see the level of the game pull up to the level of the above mentioned competitors in order to justify the 90% Steam rating. And Sim Casino, where food-court is only part of the game (casino, hotel, restaurants and many others). My choice is to play Crossroads Inn at HARD instead )Īnd there are many good other restaurant games, for example Recipe for disaster (modern time) and old, but one of the best - Restaurant Empire 2. I don't know why TM has 90% vs 60-70% of CI. There are map of region with cities, influence, reputation, searching of new recipes and furniture, advertising, real merchant paths with different prices and so on. After Crossroads Inn Tavern master is very easy, like a casual game for children. I don't know why its steam rating so low, but now it is the best tavern simulator. ![]() I played both games and, in my opinion, Crossroads Inn Anniversary Edition is MUCH better, harder, there are a lot of content.
